The Lake District is in the depths of winter. Swift Running Company guides have been here there and everywhere making the most of the beautiful Lake District. This last week our guides have enjoyed running fantastic ridges and beautiful snowfields and have ran over peaks including Ill Bell, the Yoke, High Street and Wansfell to name a few. With Clear blue skies the navigation has been easy and the conditions underfoot favourable.

As ever the guides here at the Swift Running Company would always recommend checking the forecast before heading into the mountains. A very reliable and fantastic forecast that we use on a regular basis can be found here at mountain weather information service.
