Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Having your own equipment is encouraged as it means the experience is more tailored but not essential we have equipment that you can hire on request.

What happens on the day?

That depends on your desire, do you want to see sunrise from top of a mountain or start after a leisurely breakfast, the day is yours so you can decide. Enjoying your experience of running in the Lake District is our number one aim, so if that’s getting high in the mountains or running beautiful single track and dropping by a Lakeland Café for Tea and Cake, (we do like our cake)

Can we run to the top of the mountains?

In short yes, there are hundreds of mountains here in the Lake District and all the peaks are accessible, the only thing that might stop us on the day in adverse weather.

Is it safe?

As with anything in life there are dangers, all of our runs are bespoke and are designed around the individual’s fitness and experience which means we can reduce the risk and likelihood of something happening. You can be safe in the knowledge that all our guides are qualified Mountain Leaders and are First Aid trained.
